Camp Time Is Apon Us

Camp time is here. During the month of June, we have our 4 weeks of camp. Kids camp, Jr Camp, Sr. Camp, and Camp Meeting. If your not registered, then you better get registered.
Camp is always a great time. There is nothing like seeing 2-3,000 other young people together for Jesus. The feeling that you will come back with, will be life changing. To see the new fire that is in your eyes is refreshing; even to the adults.
The goal though, is to not only come back on fire, but to keep that fire burning bright. One of my most vivid memories of camp was in 94 r 95. The service spilled over into the camp grounds, and young people were turning over trash cans and preaching on top of them. I remember looking up into the sky thinking: "God, just come back right now. This would be perfect." When i got back home I remember burying myself in my room for hours at a time reading and praying. I remember going out to hospitals and praying for people with my Pastor. That is when I knew that i wanted to service God as a minister.
Camp is a place where destinies are put into focus, and young people are called. Get signed up, get ready, and come back on fire. When you get back, get plugged in. Cause if you don't feed a fire, it will die. Feed your fire with S.O.U.L.'s. Some Other Uninformed Life.

C.R.E.W. Blog

After much work, and a lot of help, we finally have gotten the C.R.E.W. Blog up and running. Now give us a little time to get it adjusted and just right, but for now we are up and running.

I will post blogs every week, atleast a little something, and I will also use this to post pictures and other things.

Thanks for being such a great group of young people.

Love

Intro

The youth of JWC have many entry points into both social and spiritual groups…from small groups that meet weekly to monthly Youth Services, held in their own personal youth center. JWC endeavors to give both opportunities and training to any youth that wishes to develop their gift and talents for the use in the Kingdom of God. Our youth are encouraged to participate in drama, dance, puppets, creative music interpretation using sign language and dowel rods, as well as getting involved in each and every outreach effort. Recently, they held a FREE car wash…no donations were accepted…this follows the theme of “good for nothing”.
