'Focus' Prayer & 4th Dimension
'Focus' - Youth Prayer starts at 6:30 pm Tonight!
4th Dimension Class starts at 7:00 pm tonight! Make sure your there as we will pick up where we left off 2 weeks ago with our bible study. Bro. Jeremiah will be teaching the class tonight. We will also have special announcements about the Christmas banquet and the Christmas bonfire.
C.R.E.W. Christmas Bonfire
December 14th @ 6 pm at Bro. & Sis. Dears home. We will be playing White elephant, which means that everyone needs to bring a gift that cost $0 to $5. Please have it wrapped with no name on it. We will have food, games, and music. Make sure your there for this great event.
C.R.E.W. Christmas Banquet
December 10th @ 6:00 pm at Bro. Townley’s church. (if you need directions we can get you some). This is a very formal dress event. Please dress very formal. This will also be bring a date event, so you can bring a date with you and even take pictures for $5 (you will receive two 5x7’s). Tickets are $10 a person, and can be purchased from Sis. Tiffany beginning this week. Every person must have a ticket to attend. We will also have a special speaker and a special movie presentation that will recap our year.

Christmas Time
playing and we are all looking in the magazines and different stores in the mall for all the great gifts that we would like to have.
I was just out shopping this last week in the big sells that were going on. There was just a lot of tension, while people were buying gifts to gift in celebration of our saviors birth, and we all know the great story of Jesus birth. The birth of a virgin, of a baby lade in a manger in swaddling cloths. Where the wise men traveled afar to find this king of the Jews.
(Mat 2:2) Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
When you are looking in the sky we see many a star. Star that are shining bright. If you ever get lost there is a way to find the North star and to find your way out, and to find shelter from the storm.
Just like the wise men that traveled a far. We are able to follow the path for what Christ has paved the way for us. Who set the example and way for us to live. Let us look in to our lives and ask ourselves which way we are pointed today. Where are we headed? And what are we allowing to be our guiding light.

Oct. 28th - NO YOUTH EVENT - OFF NIGHT
No youth event on the 28th! Take the day off and enjoy some quite time!
Chicot State Park Camping Trip with Landmark UPC
On Oct. 26th and 27th, we will be joining Landmark UPC (Youth Pastor David Daigle) for a weekend long camping trip to Chicot State Park. Cost will be $15 per student, and will cover your sleeping area and your eats. If your interested in going, we do need to have a count before next week; so please get with your cell servant or Youth Pastor Nate and let us know. Its going to be a great time!
4th Dimension is this WEDNESDAY
After 'Focus', we will have our first 4th Dimension Class starting this Wednesday Oct. 24th. We will start class at 7:30, and have a special treat this week because we will be splitting up the groups into ages. Join us for a wonderful time together, this Wednesday!

Sunday Morning Impact every Sunday Morning!
Sunday Morning Impact starts every Sunday morning at 9:45. If you are in choir as soon as practice is over, please go straight to class. If you are not in choir please go straight to your class after arriving on campus.
If you have never been to Sunday Morning Impact, we invite you to join our wonderful teachers as we take a fun, intriguing look, into Gods word. This months theme is "Are You A Hottie?", come join us and find out if you would be a hottie to God.

Christians are like Pumpkins
Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. Happy Fall!
Gone Fishing
I love to fish, the problem is I never get to go fishing. The disciples were fishermen. Its what they knew, its what was in their blood, it was their heritage; yet when Jesus walked by and said “Come”, they left. Why is that? What was it about Jesus that intrigued them so much?
D.T. Niles has one of my favorite quotes. He said “Evangelism is just one beggar telling another
beggar where to find bread.” That’s all a fishermen of men does. We simply are telling others of the good news, of where to find peace, of where to find fulfillment; because its where we found it, in Christ Jesus.
To be a fishermen though you have to stay in the boat. Sure there are fish off the banks, but if you want to be where the big “fish” are, you have to get in the boat.
Our boat is “church”, because church is a place we go from, not to. If you stay in the boat and fish long enough, sooner or later you will catch “the big one”.
You see its our job to do the fishing, not the cleaning. I personally hate cleaning fish, its gross and yucky. God is simply telling us “You catch ‘em, I’ll clean ‘em!”
If we put feet on our faith, and are faithful fishermen, God will save souls thru us.
Stay in the boat and keep fishing!
Fall is in the Air!
I love fall, don’t you? Things start to cool down, there is a freshness in the air; the whole season is just enjoyable. It reminds me that there is a permanence of seasonal change. God promises that if you will just hang tough, winds of change will come blowing. No matter what season you are in, sit tight because God will never stop doing good to YOU!

Youth Fun Day this Weekend!! Come and Join us
The C.R.E.W. Youth Ministries is having a Youth Fun Day this Saturday September 22nd, starting at 1 p.m. We will be meeting at the church and leaving by 1:30 in the afternoon on this Saturday. From the church we will be going to the Incredible Pizza Company in Lafayette, where we will enjoy a buffet, drink, and tons of games for only $20. This will pay for their drinks and food, plus a $17 game card to play any games they choose. After some pizza and fun we will be back at the church before 7 pm, where we will watch "Facing the Giants" in the KKIC building. This will cost $5 per student. So for $25, you will enjoy a day full of food, fun, and fellowship.If you haven't gotten your permission slip, please do so. Also, please let us know, if you can, if you plan on attending this weekends youth event.

Game Nite this FRIDAY Night
After the football game is over, grab your friends and come on over to the Welsh Youth Church. We will have fellowship, food, fun, and games. Please bring $5 with you. We will open the doors at 9 pm, and will wrap everything up by Midnight. Its a great time to come have some good christian fun, and get your friends involved in our church.

Outreach THIS SATURDAY!! September 8th!! Meet at the church at 7 am for Trash Pick Up and for door knocking. We need the help, so please be sure to come out and help us do "Good for Nothing". We must be involved to evolve.

Sheaves for Christ Fundraiser
Our Sheaves for Christ fundraiser is up and going! If you haven’t gotten you packet, get one today. This is the most important thing we will do all year long. Sheaves for Christ helps raiser money for our missionaries, who desperately need it. We have a goal of $200 per student, and if we hit that you will get to pie each youth staff member’s face. Help grow Gods kingdom, and have your finger print on souls across this world!!

True Worship
The Bible speaks of God seeking for True Worshipers, but what is a True Worshiper? If we want to know what a true worshiper is we must know what a fake worshiper is, and that could easily be described as someone who is only out to worship themselves. A true worshiper only wants to bless God with their praise and worship, not only at church, but in our every day lives.

We now have our honor roll and banner roll sign up sheet ready. We want to know how well you are doing in school, and we want to reward you for those good grades. So thru out the year help us make sure your name gets signed up if you make honor roll or banner roll!

United Class, Sheaves for Christ, and Youth Rally
C.R.E.W. Youth Ministries presents United Class Tonight! If you are looking to grow in your relationship with God, and are serious about being equipped with leadership skills that will help you at school, and for the rest of your life; then United Class is for you. Class is open to all ages, 11 years old and up in the youth group. Class starts at 6:30 at Nathan and Tiffany's Home, casual dress, and we will have food. Class will be over at 8:00, and you can be picked up at our home. We will have games, food, and a small leadership lesson from our Youth Pastor. Please try and call or email us today, so that we can have a good count of how many would like to make it tonight.
We are also excited to announce that at youth service last night we kicked off our Sheaves for Christ fundraiser. If you didn't get your packets, please get one from us on Wednesday or Sunday. Sheaves for Christ is very important, and will help reach souls all across this world. If you want to have a World Impact then get your packet and help us sell some cookie dough. If we hit our goal of $200 per student, and $5,000 for the fundraiser as a whole; then each youth staff member will get pied in the face by our youth. So not only will you help grow Gods kingdom, but you will also get to smash a pie in the face of your Youth Staff here at C.R.E.W. Youth Ministries.
Last, but not least is a Youth Rally this Friday. It is very important that we come together as youth in our area and worship God. We will build unity, fellowship, and make friends that are living for God and going thru the same things that you are facing. The rally is this friday, and is $10per person. We will stop and feed you with this $10 after the Rally is over. We also need a head count for this, and you have to pick up your permission slip. Please see Bro. Nathan or your cell member to get yours today.

We had a great turn out for week 1 of our dangers of hip hop series. We had to take last week, and this week off from the series, but next week we will be right back to it. Thanks for showing up, I feel these will help everyone (young and old) to realize how powerful music is. ~Nate

Just a few pictures from our last youth service. We talked about avoiding a non-committing commitment with God. We must always realize that this is a relationship and not a religion. Religion means rules, and our signs outside our churches tell you how many rules we have. Love God, and build a relationship with him where you know what his heart is saying. ~Nate
